Decent swell, about time.Fun downtown last night to shoulder and some sets,Nice direction also.Crowd always thins out by 6pm.Tide killed it about 8.
Surfed around the corner early afternoon today.3-5 and sets. One kneelo at the rock, one decoy in the middle, and I had the point to myself.Swell direction wasn't the best, but I got to pick and choose.Looks to be a good nw end of next week.Signs that the california high is breaking down.Time for some juice.

cheers

Scott's correct. There were some nasty waves at the beaches. The sets would just unload on the inside sand bar. All I surfed were a few end wedges
and stayed away from getting too pounded.

Hopefully, the swell will stick around through tomorrow. I'm thinking that an ultra-dawn patrol is the call and surf the minus tide coming up. Time to scrap the fins across the reef.

Early Sat. Morning

Paddled out north of Santa Cruz early Sat. morning and found 3 kneelos already out. Kind of fun surfing with other kneelos for a change.

Thanks to all for a fun surf while visiting up north.
Really stoked to meet John and Bob.
Back home today, saw a kneelo out this morning @ The Hook. Anyone on this site?

On another note, happy to say that my honey and I feted 17 years of wedded bliss today!!
Great fine lady and mom and she puts up with my surfing addiction too!

Have a great week y'all.

And for those of you lucky enough to surf this week, count yer blessings and continue to give us working stiffs a report! :)
