how to rat out a friend

Post by Man O' War »

I'm committing a crime here. S.Kneel will shoot me but I'll take my punishment gladly. Luke aka El Nino is a recent crossover to kb'ing and also a penniless college student, and Steve Neal has just made a very generous gesture. The proof is in my hands today--a sweet quad from his own quiver. The make & model doesn't matter but trust me, it was a significant sacrifice.

This is one of those "random acts of kindness" often seen on ksusa that inspires others to do the same. Steve, forgive me but you're a shredder. There are tracks that do not disappear. Thanks!

Yes MOW, that indeed is very noble of Steve to give someone else whom cannot afford a new or used board, one of his own. I've notice that there are alot of kneelos that will do this. I did this once before during the mid 90's to a friend that had his original KB that he learned on. I gave him 2 boards, so that he could say he had a quiver. Way to go Steve.____Mark R.

Well, I'd like to take a moment here and thank you Mark...the board is currently in the shop (yes, it's being repaired ya'll!)...without your kind giving I never would have known what an off-the-top snap felt like. Thanks dude. My hat's off to you, Mark, and other kneelos like yourself that go out of their way to make others' wave riding quivers complete.

I couldn't afford one before, that's for sure, barely could now, so...thanks, Mark.

And yes, when I get a new board some day the Blue Bottle will be passed on in grand fashion.
