Wind swell on the way

Post by JackG »

NOAA says wrote:SHORT TERM (TONIGHT-THU)...HAVE ISSUED A GALE WATCH FROM POINT PIEDRAS BLANCAS TO SANTA CRUZ ISLAND FOR THE PERIOD FROM MIDDAY WEDNESDAY THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
That means spring time after work wind swell is on its way.

is that a good thing? short period wind swell = crap = go windsurfing up here. However, I have surfed those conditions in April in SB a few years back.

I guess it's all relative when the other option is it being flat.

I find local windswell to be more enjoyable than sharing mediocre Rincon with 200 of my best friends.
