For the past 6 months I have been stuck on the process of connecting the camera mount to the board without causing any structural or cosmetic damage. Been there and done that to Bruces boards, never again

Thankfully I've been inspired by Albert Munoz who also has picked up the idea & asked me for some input. Anyway, we have trialled a couple of ideas that have shown promise! Albert is currently in Indo testing his version out & I have been hard at work finishing mine.
I think most people have seen footage of stand up surfers with a rear board mount & most would agree that it is a pretty cool angle. Ever since seeing "My eyes wont dry" surf film I've been wanting to do the same sort of approach.
There have been a few hurdles to overcome, 1st being the height. The first attempt was nothing more than a shot of my arse

Attaching the camera mount to the board has been hard. I've had two attempts that have not worked but I have come up with not the prettiest result but so far the strongest. Alberts input helped enormously with this stage and one we are still working on.
Protection is another aspect high up on the list, lots of screws, bolts, steel edges to rip you a new arsehole

I took it out yesterday in very average conditions and was happy with the saftey, strength and attachment but captured very little footage that could be kept. Loads of results regarding everything else with the rig though.
Time will tell. Got a trip coming up to Indo in a month so hopefully will have everything tweaked by then.
