Looking promising for late next week on the right coast. Come on, Bertha! (not too close, now)

Yeah I surfed in Cambria this morning and the smoke mixed with the fog was heinous!

Big Sur is burning big time and its a bummer.

Captain don't go down Hwy 1. It is closed 47 miles north of Cambria.

Hope you get some waves.

Peace

Probably at least another couple of weeks rehabbing till I can get it wet.

The crowd was over the top..Small south,decent..opted out.Looks to be a rising NW under the south.Weather's gonna get pretty warm also, and they're talking OS.May not bode well for all these fires...hot land winds...not good.

Scottmac wrote, "The last thing in the world I could tolerate was kooks from Dinair." Sounds to me like your channeling the "underground".

OB SF Shoulder high, glassy, warmer water, peaky, fun

Took Scott's very positive suggestion and got me one of those electric chair thing a' bobs. Sweeeet!. The basket works great holds the fins really well. Got me to the water's edge, then a couple middle aged, women long boarders helped me out of it into the water. one them tried to cop a feel!

Next time I think I will make a few modifications. It needs a board rack on the back and I think I will swap out the tires for knobbies for better traction. Been looking into changing out some of cast steel parts for some titanium ones. This should give it a more light responsive feel. Can't wait. Good idea Scott.
