Swellnets forecast for the weekend looks like surf ranging from 2-5 foot onshore...strong on Friday backing off by Sunday..oh well at least there will be surf.... Thursday looks the pic of the bunch 29 degrees light northerlies 3-4 foot....

It makes some interesting reading.....great to see David & Garrett winning their age divisions & also to see that Michael Novakov not only supported the event but did so well.
Congratulations to all the winners & all those that surfed - it's because of this depth of talent & support that the Aussies are so good.

Well done to James [Pommy] Anderson too.....are you going to surf for the UK in Santa Cruz next year?......hope so

great to see that the cream still rises to the top must have been some great surfing despite the conditions but most significantly the host of new names excuse my ignorance but over half are new to me this can only be great for kneeboard surfing not to mention simon s attendance and nov seniors return congratulations baden and all other division winners its all looking good and scoop this is about the quickest posting of results ever good work

Well it certainly ran the gamut of conditions, barely contestable slop on saturday (with the offical tent almost getting washed out) with rock dodging on the cards for the early heats, marshmallow humps in the arvo, to those lovely rips that Vic turns on so well but made for an interesting final on sunday's final. yeh twas fun. On ya Baden, Nov, Dave Parkes and the rest of the competitors. It was great.
BTW who am I? 2nd Grand Masters (only just) I thought you had me Smurf!

What probably happend was that Garret tried to get him up early and got a clip on the ear and sent back to bed with the comment "get your own breakfast and let dad sleep in for a change!!! "
