I'm thinking of a walk into A-bay tomorrow (Sunday) morning.
everything has been a bit straight and closeouts around the beachies.
Points are very crowded.
A-bay may give a bit of a break from the angry crew.

North of Pincushion was quiet today but again no banks and closeouts.

The Diamond Tail Stump is up for grabs.
I guess if someone really wants it the Parkes area pin tail.
I'm not happy with my new Parkes Swallow but I'm giving it more time ... (that one is not on the web page yet)

I've got 6 boards here and you can have a ride of any or all.

Hey Kev, hope you get some waves at alex, although i'm not sure about getting a break from the crew, last time i was there it was fairly crowded.
The waves and banks have been turning it on this week down my way, tuesday/ wed the pick for size 6-7 out front on wed. nobody out unreal conditions thus fri. & yesterday still good but yesterday morning i came to blows with my nose and board ducking under a small lip it hit me in the neck and smashed my face into the deck... broke and split my hooter so i'm out of the water for a few days. If your heading back through on your way back south give me a call and well get a wave and have a yak.. AB

Hi Terence

AB's boards are first class and so light. Also Dave Parkes is not too far south at Byron Bay. Quite a few guys reckon Mick Carpenter (Sunshine Coast) makes a good kneeboard. I don't know him but you may be able to contact him through Beachbeat (local surfshops). Paul at " The Factory " makes kneeboards for some of the locals down around Caloundra and they seem very happy with them.

BTW Kev, I was busy with work last week but reliable sources have been saying how good it has been at the beachbreaks close to your parents mid to late week. Windy today, should be waves around this week.

Thanks for letting me try your Strapper Kev - very nice !

AB sorry to hear about the hooter. The simple errors can cause unexpected grief.

A-Bay not Alex
Alexandria Bay just south of Noosa. the nudie beach near the Blowhole.
that sound worse than it really is ??

Alex, Ann St and Moffs are always crowded on weekends and now the Wurt area is getting too popular.
It used to be quiet and just locals.

Heading for Coffs in June

and may do the Tent GetAway (WindanSea Boardriders) with Shelfbreak at Ballina ... in a few weekends.

err kev, thats what i meant, alex - short for alexandria.... i used to surf there back in the 70's & 80's when granite bay was the nudie beach and was full of hot chicks instead of old devo's like now at " alexandria " those were the days when you could body surf straight into a nice bush and not get hurt

Still some hotties around at Granite IN bikinis.
A Bay is a little creepy, but if the surf`s good, not much else matters.
My local surf spot as a teenager was an unofficial nudist beach in the middle of Sydney`s Eastern Suburbs.
The surfers gathered at the top of the bay, the nudes in the middle, families way down on the beach and men who liked men were in the caves and cliff face in front of our reef break.
Thought nothing of it back then. A lot has changed in 40 years.
