I would beat him up because he wouldn't STOP picking his nose!

Kel's sister Pam was my high school "sweetheart" and the person that turned me on to kneeboarding back in '77.
She's the photographer responsible for these pics and the year was 1978 in my backyard in Anaheim.

Pam, who also is a ksusa member, went on to bigger things and hooked up with the infamous "Wedge Crew" back in the early '80's surfin with Romanosky, Tank, and all those crazies.
Somewhere there's footage of her droppin into some triple overhead grinders on one of those big Wedge swells.

I do believe the board was a Small Faces Fish from Froghouse. First board I ordered NEW. White tint/paint with red and blue lightning bolts on the rails. My memories of this day and my board are as bad as the pictures.

Still talk to Kel's sister on a regular basis. She now windsurfs the Gulf Coast of Florida on a daily basis and shreds.

Jim, that' an awesome story, thanks for fillin' the details. Kel that stuff belongs in a Kneeboarding museum, well maybe at least archived in the classics section.
