Have Wednesday off, tank full of gas and digital movie cam. All I need is a couple 3 good So Cal spots to catch KB's on this big swell. Surfline calling it "epic" conditions. Well I'd like to capture kneelos rippin up in "epic" Cal. I won't name any locations and will show respect to locals. I just want to catch KB's in some decent CA size. I'll share it on YouTube if I can figure how to load it in. Will take suggestions from Seal to La Jolla, anywhere I get set up relatively close to the break. [/u]

Just hit my checkout spot on the way home. Mist rising from all along the Santa Cruz coastline but the low tide is making the waves look a little bit ragged.
I was trying to check the sets but kept jumping as surfer friends kept driving by, honking their horns and hooting.
Looks like a dawn patrol.

Gumby - If it pushes through as expected and you're on the road Friday, the Queen of the Coast may be the ticket.

And with the new swell comes the Big Stink. After weeks of an intense Red Tide the big waves have churned up a smell that is horrendous; Aptos Village and the Rio Flats are pegged at 10 on the Gag-O-Meter.
Heading out for a more in depth survey.

Blacks junky this morning on the high tide - big rip at the point and just walls at middles. Hardly a corner to be found. Hoping it cleans up!
