Just got the word from Matt (a great photographer and kneelo on Vancouver Island, Canada) that his wonderful wife of many years, Kerry, succumbed to cancer after a long battle. There were times she appeared to be pulling out of it, but it just would not let her go. Matt had radicallly altered his lifestyle to be with her day in and day out; that is why you did not see him at either the last KSUSA contest or at the World Comps.

Kerry was as sweet a soul as you'll ever meet, and she could really light up a room with her smile. We were able to spend some time with her on a few occasions, most recently this last April, and were always impressed with her. She leaves two young adult children.
We commit her into God's loving care, and look forward to seeing her again someday, perfectly healthy.
