Classic weekend :D...3hr session sat.3 to 5 with sets, the good ones winding down the reef.Bigger today,4 to 6 some a bit overhead.Good ones were going 80-100 yds  double session,10 till 1 pm,3 till 5pm.
Glassy most of the day,bit of wind late afternoon, but the kelp kept it smooth inside
No crowd :) 5 buds on three peaks.Ed quinn was here years ago...he knows

Ed..got your eyes on?Been surfing with nate, good man.didn't know you all were friends.

cheers

OB was head to overhead this morning. Mid beach was bit funky with outside mushy bombs solidly over head, a calm zone then inside crunchers. VFW's was bit walled and jumbled looked like several swells in the water and bar formation was spotty. Mixed bag of rides with one violent smack down and a sweet little barrel for the sessions last wave. Nice sunny morning with calm glassy conditions. Now we just need a little offshore wind. Come on fall!

THE BEAST WAKENS!

Looks like good swell on it's way in the next week for California and Hawaii from a few different sources.

Cross your fingers conditions will be good to match it.
Northern Pacific surf season looking to be off to a good start. 8) :D

Heading down to Baja tomorrow morning to meet up with Jimbo, Byunhosa, and others. We're hoping the SW and NW converge for a fun weekend.

JackG - How many days? Keep an eye peeled on Hurricane Lane - and don't camp in an arroyo.
