Still here on the west side.A little here a little there.A few days out to polihale for some small ones.Saw a KBer down the next break, never made contact.ran into a KBer at kapalas...jim?from up at the bay,old school..5'twin,good style, needs a new board....
Anything under HH,and the place is empty.Just like home.most read the report. It says 0-2 nobody comes.Surfed quite a few days to a bit Overhead on the sets and a handfull of locals.I'm the resident KBer Show up at dark, surf till it's gone, all know my name, where I'm from...the whole story...Get pushed into waves, plenty of respect all around... 8)
No bullsh-t from the Y-ins,you surf good, share with others you get the respect.
NW headed to this island maybe tom.[wed]Big enough it might swing around the corner, get into a few spots in the area somewhere. We'll see...Maybe go up around the bay..Nice spots.crowded though.Being a country boy probably hang here for the last few days

cheers.

rjs was fun today, did a solo bus trip but paddled out with my ipod to keep me company :D

waves were a little OH on the sets and really concentrated peaks...scored a couple square ones and some good turns......and took a beating on a set wave that had me choking on some red tide...

one other kneelo out on a romo quad but he was further up the beach...

lots of bird activity out there too, the bonito are running right now with a 12ib average and fish up to 15! Go get some sushi!

night surfing tomorrow?

thousand steps on sundaY!

OC, MD was fun today, chest to head w/ a few OH+ set waves, some serious drainers as the tide dropped out. Deep pits, spitting spray, tubes as wide as they were tall. Won some, lost some. Mike F. - thanks for turning me on to 48th (actually wound up at 51st), you are mos def correct about the place. Met Rodney the OC kneelo, he remembered you. Nice to see another KBer for a change....
Took some snapshots, I'll post 2nite if they are Slats worthy.

Meanwhile, on the other coast, things have shaped up as expected.

Surfed with Don (briefly... he had to go)

We ended up at the between Lincoln and the Chalet.

Nice conditions, warm weather, chest - HH waves coming through pretty consistently. Got in about 2 1/2 hours before jamming back to work.

Game on for the next few days...

BTW, mid-beach didn't look so hot. South end had lots of takers, but I was pretty happy with our call.

It was still very surfable when I left...

Man-O-War is heading upcoast tomorrow for some 8.9' @ 14 seconds swell.
The forcast has just the right amount of onshore wind to remind us that were in Florida!

Mr K the water in your backyard last weekend was a scalding 49 degrees, up 3 degrees from a couple weeks back. Welcome home.

Ohhhh....

(my aching back! :D  )

Returned to the same stretch today... chest-HH, OFFSHORE (and not just a little,) smoking hot, textured waves, bikinis on the beach, not that many guys out...

In other words, if you're in the area... GO!

Saw a kneelo wearing a white helmut right around the Chalet. I was a touch South... Bob, was that you?

I hear the weather pattern weakens after today, but the surf is building...
