I start to come back to life in the fall, not much of a summer person. This summer was the worst though. I didn't paddle once since the contest in June. Oh well, thinking about going this friday. My first traing session for the big wo ha in November.
Ler- You seem right on target. Summers in California are supposed to be the time to put your head down and work to make the big bucks. Then, when the Fall hits........really- California's true summer......you're ready to hit the water and start training for the winter.
Ler, you can keep the farm! Had fun and it made goin into work easier to tolerate.
I just can't figure out why the guy didn't post the freefall drop, the barrell or the mondo airial that preceded the cutback

San Francisco enjoyed a good run from Monday to Wednesday. Head to slightly overhead, 4 to 5 knot offshore. Classic fall conditions. Made the packed southwest flight to LA tolerable.
Syd,
I saw you checking it Monday PM at Pacheco... tried to get your attention while travelling 35mph. Don and I had just finished towards the North end. Then it was Tues, Wed & today dawn patrol. While I heard tales of great surf all week, Tues AM was best for me.
K-Man,
Did you surf Bolinas last Sunday with Ben and Ben? If so, small world! I met Ben R. this AM... he surfed the inside.
I was totally oblivious on Monday, descisions to make you know. I ended up surfing the north end that day as well and it was good fun. I also snagged a wednesday afternoon surf at Pacheco. That was the best sess for me. Maybe ten guys spread between Pacheco and Rivera with solid overhead sets rolling through. Very fun 8 foot A frames, steam rolling down the sand bars. Consistent 6 to 8 with a 10 footer throw in every 15 minutes or so. Nice paddling channels. Current was a bit brutal just drifted down past Rivera towards the end of the session. It started to get a little more closed out as it turned to a very low tide. I checked it today at 4:00 PM, foggy with south wind at 10 knots. VFWs was barely shoulder high and bit closed out. I ended up not surfing and headed home. This weekend does not look too positive. I might be able to get a surf in saturday afternoon, but a kindergarden class picnic and a birthday party prempt swell this time.
