Still flat here, from I.B. up tp L.J. reefs, although one of the little groins down the street from my house had a few 4' sets on the incoming tide....my body needs salt water so bad I had my girlfriend throw a glass of epsom salts in my face........

Today was the biggest of our recent run of wind swell. This being SB not in the December-March time frame, big is relative of course. Still the fun continued, third good day this week, not bad for May. About 20 people at a break that felt crowded yesterday with 10 ... yes this is SoCal.

Jimputz and I got a bunch of fun little peaks at Orange St this morning. Glassy, not crowded and really fun for chest high waves. As a bonus the water was not even that skanky - although the beach was like a trash can

Who's up for this weekend? :D

Three days and a south pulse on the way...

Saw some surf in the water this afternoon but, that water is way to red for me. I think South is the way to go, way South. :P

Jim, Kava, San Diego was pretty decent this morning. Only 3-4ft., but the water once the sun came out was an emerald blue, just really beautiful. I did recall seeing a red tide here, but it was over a week ago. Get here early because it'll br Memorial weekend.

ska-anytime my friend, just shoot me a p.m. or e-mail.......kava- your right about the zonies, drivin' around lost, takin' all the parking spaces, wearin' their polo shirts with the collars turned up....at least they don't surf...our biggest problem is all the brazalian's here, crowding the line-up,no respect for local crews, always paddeling around...they don't even have enough class tp speak spanish like the rest of us...to entiendes loco? but enough of my rant - there are waves at the jetty and I'm on it!!!!!
