Hey al just checked the surf saturday morning, 3-4ft and still blowing onshore, maybe sunday if the swell doesn,t back off. H ows vanuatu

i herd Sunday is going to be going off on long island, i herd 5-10. but we will see. finally after the entire summer being in a surf slump

jd. yeah the n/w was blowing early but i paddled out at cudgen with a stand up who lives up the road bit of size difference from the goldy to down here, solid 8' easy and heavy, nearly made it out the back duck dived under what i thought was the last wave and this bomb reared up in front of me so i pushed me board back , dived for the bottom came up not to bad, grabbed me board no more sets, snapped me board eh, my 6'1" parkes gun. Not happy had that baby for 7 years[ but it is fixable] so no waves for me this morning it's funny the only other board i've ever snapped was in exactly the same place 8' cudgen weird, but the westerly didn't blow in till this arvo, and it was perfect still 8' barreling glass, rt's & lft's only 4 guys out, took out my new carbon, a bit nervous, hadn't surfed it in anything above 4' put in different fins and it went unreal, big bombs handled it fine & didn't snap it. Tomorrow morning should be filth bit smaller but after today might be a good thing. you should come down kingscliff was perfect but not as big. AB
