Must be a regional thing because El Porto has had the best summer since I moved back to CA in '95. I made it all the way to August before having heading south to get surf. Just surfed CH Porto again this morning.

The flatness couldn't have come at a better time. I had hernia surgery on May 29th and thought for sure that I was going to miss tons of surf during my 3 month recovery period. Turns out that I got my winter quiver together, winterized the truck, and took a 2 week medical vacation on top of it all. Now that I'm back the south swells are lining up. I got real lucky.

thall - Glad to hear your surgery went well. Guess it was lucky to have a flat period so you could recover properly.

It's due to Global Warming. Ask Al Gore.

Or it could be the curse of StupidTee as he was being tossed under the bus by the Admin!

looks like the flat spell has ended. We have swell in SF!!!! All I can say is thank got I windsurf otherwise I would have lost it. This was the best year of sailing for as long as I can remember...wind almost every day.
