Oops for got to ask has any one got a pool stared. Just for fun. looks like heat 3 and 4 will be the ones to watch. Were is a good breakfast at?

Gumpy.....There are a few good places in O`side ..They are all along coast hwy. Someplaces you can`t miss because of the people waiting outside. The place I go is at the very south end of O`side. Oceanside cafe. Corner of coast hwy and Vista way. It`s more of a local spot because people that go there aren`t there to be "seen". There isn`t alot of parking in front, but there is a big lot behind them for people to park in. There is a wooden gate at the north of the parking lot to get to the cafe.

Well I'm supposed to be on the road to Oceanside right now (probably somewhere near Santa Barbara) but alas, Fredos Law hit.
Came home from work very pumped to go on my only solo vacation all YEAR and to pack up the gear, when I find my lovely wife horizontal on the couch!!
She maybe gets sick once a year and as y'all may surmise she hurled all night long.
So here I am watching Little Einsteins on the couch with my 5 yr old(the vector)
Pretty Bummed and I hear the violins playing loud and clear. . .

I recommend - especially my fellow competitors in Heat 10 - a large, substantial breakfast right before the contest: perhaps a steak burrito with potatoes on the side (and don't forget that cinamon roll)! Remember it's the most important meal of the day.

I just got a call reminding us that we can BBQ on the beach if we want - based on the forecast, let's hope it's BBQ weather!
